I'm a freelance photographer based in the Forest of Dean specialising in equestrian events and photoshoots, including horses & owners, dogs and families/children although my ultimate passion is capturing images of wildlife as I love animals.
My aim to to capture you in a natural environment so that you feel comfortable in front of the camera resulting in relaxed images rather than stilted, over-posed photographs.
My love of photography started many years ago when I had the opportunity to visit the Canadian Rockies. Not wanting to tour such an amazing area (and capture bears in particular) with a compact camera, I invested in a second-hand Olympus OM10 film camera and lens and that's where it all started. I later went on to capture many images of my children growing up before investing in my first digital camera.
I am DBS checked and a member of the Society of Photographers, from which I've received a Highly Commended Award for my photography. I'm also registered with British Showjumping so that I'm able to capture event images under their banner.
